1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
2 eggs, beaten
2 c. buttermilk
1/2 tsp. vanilla (optional)
8 Tbsp. butter, melted

1/2 cup frozen or fresh blueberries (optional)

Whisk together flour, baking powder, salt and baking soda. Add eggs, buttermilk, vanilla and butter. Stir together well.If batter seems too thick, add a tablespoon or two of buttermilk; if batter seems too thin, add a tablespoon or two of extra flour. Stir to mix.
Pour batter into a preheated waffle iron and cook until crisp and golden.
